Available Lunch Programs Once again, this year, Parkside Students will have two lunch options. You may choose option 1, option 2, or a combination of both. Option #1 Parkside will be using our Hot Lunch Site for ordering. This system is reset every June; therefore, everyone is required to register every new school year. When registering please use the code PSHL. The Hot Lunch Site will be open for ordering on Thursday, September 4, 2025, and close on Wednesday, September 10th for the month of September. Ordering for October will be open on September 15th and close on September 29th. Milk delivery will begin on Monday, September 15th, and the first Pizza day will be Wednesday, September 17th. On this site, you may order the following: Daily - White milk ($0.50) and chocolate milk ($1.10) Fridays only - Frozen treat ($1.00). The starting date for Frozen treats is TBA. Wednesday's only - Slice of pizza (Little Caesar's cheese pizza, alternating weeks with Little Caesar's pepperoni pizza), $2.95. On Wednesdays we will also offer Little Caesar's 4 piece crazy bread for $3.00. If you wish, you may also make a donation to our Breakfast Cereal program. For parents who have a balance in their account from last year, the system will look for a saved balance and apply it to the parent's account. This applies to both credit and debit balances. If there is an unpaid balance, your account will be locked from order until the balance is paid. Orders are placed monthly, and due on the last Wednesday of each month, or as listed below. Once the ordering period has ended, no late orders will be accepted. Payment may be made online through the HotLunches website or by cash in the Parkside main office. Please place cash in a plastic Ziploc bag labeled with your child's name and class. If payment is not received, food orders will be canceled. If orders must be canceled due to school closures, they will be refunded to HotLunch accounts. If a student is absent on the day of their order, the food items are donated to another student. If a student is absent for an extended period of time, please contact Parkside's main office. Please contact Parkside office staff at (902) 888-8472 if you have questions regarding our lunch program. Payment Info: We use the online payment processing system Bambora. Additional transaction fees will apply. Option #2 The Healthy Food Lunch Program is offered daily. You can now register for PEI's new Healthy School Lunch Program - which will again give all island students access to healthy and affordable lunches this school year.
